They represent a shortened form of simulation games with a strong focus on a specific problem in the organization defined by the client. To illustrate the concept, we introduce a Microgame known as 'Yard Crane Scheduler' designed for training students and professionals on integrated yard planning in container terminal operations. The initial results of usability studies strongly favor the effectiveness of Microgames for training students and professionals.
